Their Tropes Battled for Dominance: A FanFic Podcast

Gabs and Liz do an amazing job of co-hosting “Their Tropes Battled for Dominance.” The process of one person picking their own trope to talk about, while the other is randomly assigned can lead to hilarious results but very insightful conversations. As an avid fanfiction reader myself, it’s fun to talk about favorite tropes with others but can be difficult to bring up the subject depending on the party you’re with. Thanks to Gabs and Liz, I’ve also expanded my tropes that I like and am more willing to read, and also have bookmarked a bunch more of fanfictions that they’ve read excerpts from. It’s also really nice when they are laughing together as friends, the podcast feels like something that a group of friends would talk about, and not just an outsider looking in. I would especially recommend this to people who are looking to expand their fanfiction bookmarks and have a good time.

I’m not allowed to listen as my daughter is one of the hosts and she talks about stuff a dad shouldn’t here, but I’m sure it’s excellent.
