Sam Soko is a director and producer based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work on socio political projects in music and film has allowed him to connect and work with artists around the world. He is co-founder of LBx Africa, @lbxafrica , a Kenyan production company that produced the 2018 Academy Award–nominated short fiction film Watu Wote and most recently, Softie The Film. Softie The Film is an activist's handbook, that follows the work of @bonifacemwangi and his efforts to bring a difference and challenge the system - through his eyes and his family's! It is a powerful story that has gone ahead to win the special jury editing @sundanceorg & opening night film @hotdocs .
