All Songs Considered

I’m so grateful for this show. It has great heart as well as musical knowledge. What blesses me most, though, is the way you help me understand your culture, what you have endured to keep your culture strong, and what you endure to this day. I come away with an ever-deepening understanding that every culture has a story worth knowing. My own culture is pervasive and repressive, for which I’m tempted to apologize, although I don’t really drive that machine. You leave me wondering what other cultures could be represented the way you do. I’ve seen glimpses of African cultures on Tiny Desk, but I don’t know what projects might be out there to expand that exposure and knowledge. I imagine there are cultures out there I don’t even know to wonder about! Keep showing me the world, All Songs Considered, and thank you!
