    Dalia Stefanie

    Dalia Stefanie

She was 16 when she discovered that her real name was not Stefanie. Stefanie was her middle name. Her first name was Dalia. And now, in her 70's, Dalia has reclaimed her birth name.

Dalia was inspired to tell her story by young women like Australian of the Year - Grace Tame who made it clear that they would not be silent about sexual abuse.

Dalia's story telling offers insight into the beliefs, assumptions and societal shifts that have shaped attitudes towards abuse and trauma since the 1950’s.

    Whose seizure is it anyway?

This podcast story, Whose seizure is it anyway? has been on Emma's mind for some time... well... actually since she was eleven and had her first seizure. Emma, along with co-presenters Jeannette and Oscar, all have lived experience with seizures and they take us on an audio journey that explores Epilepsy and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) through poetry, history, humour and insight. And their stories make you wonder where the real disorder lies.
