In a world of hyper polarization where it is increasingly difficult to trust the news sources that are disseminating the information that you’re consuming, Politicology is a beacon of light in the darkness. This is hands-down my favorite podcast that I listen to. They genuinely try to give a fair and accurate breakdown of everything they cover, and go far deeper on various political topics than any other political podcast I listen to. I regularly learn super niche and interesting facts about current events that no one else is talking about, and it usually gives me an interesting angle to address the events of the day with my friends and family that bring politics up with me. You can tell everyone involved with this is passionate about it, and that makes me passionate about it too. If that sounds like something that’s for you, then I implore you to give this podcast a chance.

Have listened for over 5 years and enjoyed the discourse and what I felt was unbiased discussions across the political spectrum. I don’t get why Ron is so aggressively normalizing everything when he used to present both sides, especially those critical of the mainstream. It feels like he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing and is now off the spectrum anti government anti establishment with less passion and more fervor. Sigh. Another thing lost in 2025

Ever since I cut the cord four+ years ago, I don’t get my news from TV. In fact, when I go to my Mother’s, it irritates me to have to see 5:00 local news from a station that I know has an extreme bias. I guess it would be correct to say I get my news through Substacks and podcasts that I have chosen for their analysis. I know their bias ahead of time. There is no “truth” in news.

I thought I was crazy- then I read recent reviews. This was a place I came for an honest discussion about what is happening to our democracy and why we need to fight to save it….and suddenly it feels like that is no longer the aim. I’m out.
