This is an excellently hosted podcast with a gifted storyteller. The saints selected thus far are wonderful choices too. If by chance requests are taken into consideration, please choose Bl Anna Marie Taigi. Keep up the interesting podcast JMJ
Very helpful in the growth of my interior spiritual life

I would like to thank Dr. Carlos Eire and Alberto de la Cruz for developing and delivering this podcast in such a thoughtful, approachable, and helpful way. Dr. Eire’s presentation is so humble and sincere making the information easily understood by the listener. I find critical component of a good podcast is a thoughtful moderator who can lead the primary voice in a gentle and effective way that keeps the conversation on track but also widens the discussion. Mr. de la Curz does this exceptionally well. I just began listening to this podcast last month, but have already caught up on all of your previous episodes. I just began working with a spiritual director at my church and the first thing he recommended is to find out more about mysticism. Your podcast has been a verification of how important this aspect of Christian faith is to a deeper interior lift with the Trinity and with the universal Church. Please continue in your work in this space. It is producing good fruit. Thanks again.

Really wanted to like this

Sorry, but don’t frame yourself as a legitimate, intelligent podcast then host a “scholar” who spews highly disproven nonsense like “the KGB created liberation theology.” Or if you’re going to host that person, at least press him on it. Two seconds of research demonstrates that the person who came up with that theory was extremely unreliable, and that it’s quite clearly much more complicated than “Marxists made it.”
