The U.S. Department of State and USAID announced a joint strategy to counter violent extremism. This new strategy provides a roadmap for mobilizing America’s diplomatic and development tools to counter violent extremism. Violent extremists continue to recruit, radicalize, and mobilize people -- especially young people -- to engage in terrorist acts.
