Even my non-podcast-listening-boyfriend likes this podcast

I have personally been a long-time listener of this podcast and I personally feel that it just keeps getting better with time. When they started covering LOST, I had to go back and rewatch the show, showing it to my boyfriend for the first time. We couldn't control ourselves and have since finished the series, but we still take the time to listen to this podcast each week. Joanna, Dave, and Neil have great rapport even when they disagree on things. The insights are fascinating, and the discourse is also funny and entertaining. I am a particular fan of Joanna's interviews. She asks great questions. Overall, great and very engaging podcast.

5 stars with a tint of disappointment

This show is largely a delight, but Joanna's celebration of the term guyliner was perplexing for a podcast analyzing culture through a 2020 lens. This implicit term contains the kind of gender stereotypes that we have moved on from, and it seems completely novel in 2020. For someone who embraces Joanna's progressive leanings, this was a heft of disappointment.

Love this podcast

Love the weekly sword fights between Neil and Dave while Joanna interrupts with her giggles.
