    Gary’s life back in the 1940’s comes crumbling down after hearing about an article in the local gazette, regarding a familiar face returning home . Could this bring an end to Phoebe and Gary’s relationship? Back in the 1990’s, Yvonne is feeling positive for the future that she has with Gary, and has even managed to get him a job interview at her work place. Also on this episode - We look at how Malta earned a George Cross. We hear how a ‘jolt’ sends somebody to a house they don’t recognise in our time slip story. When Gary bursts into song at the Royal Oak for a lady celebrating her birthday, an old face appears who wants to use the song that Gary has sung, for a well known entertainer that they are representing. Gary must think fast to prevent a Beatles song becoming popular before Paul McCartney has even written it himself. Also on this episode - We find out about Gary’s favourite entertainer, George Formby. We find out about a preventable disaster which happened at a tube station that caused a major loss of life. Sticking with the London Underground, we have some creepy time slip tales that occurred under the streets of London.     The Sparrows have an unexpected guest turn up at their door, after Ron has been kicked out by Stella. While at first angry with her new lodger, Yvonne warms to having Ron around after finding out what Stella is getting up to behind Ron’s back. Gary has major worries about Ron and Yvonne’s friendship, as Ron starts threatening to reveal all of Gary’s secrets to Yvonne. Back in 1942, Phoebe’s cousins, Peter and Sally, come back to London amidst some rather wintery weather. Also on this episode - We have a spooky time slip story, after some guests stay at the Grand Hotel in Brighton. A perfect ghostly tale for Christmas. We go back to the 40’s to see what Christmas Day would’ve been like during World War 2. We look at the career of Michelle Holmes, and how it kicked off in a rather unexpected way.     Ron is still suffering with his marriage woes, despite putting in the effort to rectify the issues. Gary tries to offer Ron some advice, seeing as he is an expert in maintaining two relationships… advice which makes things worse for Ron. Things aren’t as rosy as Gary thinks when it comes to his relationships, finding out that Yvonne has a secret life herself, and that Phoebe is sick of only being used for a bit of ‘how’s your father’. Also on this episode - We have an intriguing time slip story from America, where three people come across a horrendous snowstorm that leads them to a rather strange diner. A diner that the group only realise is strange, over a week after their visit. We look at a dance that was incredibly popular during the war, which Gary tries, and fails to do in today’s episode. We look at the actors that have appeared in today’s episode in our trivia section. We ponder some more questions from the 1940s and 1990s with Peggy And we also look at some horrific injuries sustained from hit show, Gladiators, in our ‘Shocking TV Moments’ segment.     Things get even worse for Ron on the marriage front, and he needs Gary more than ever before. Self-centred Gary would rather accuse Ron of being a jealous friend, as it seems some forged banknotes back in the 40’s, have Gary at the centre of a counterfeit money scam. Gary accuses Ron of printing shoddy fakes, just because Gary has two successful relationships, and Ron has none. Gary figures out the truth though, and it seems as if there is a spy amongst the punters of the Royal Oak, and it’s down to Gary and Reg to find out who it is Also on this episode - We take an in-depth look at series three, episode three, We Ponder with Peggy, as she gives us a question from the 40’s, and the 90’s, and then a link that connects them together. We are lucky to have a time slip story which involves a little adventure in Blackpool which turns out to be more than what our story teller was expecting. We look at counterfeit money, and how the Nazi’s went to extreme lengths to get it over to Britain, We look at a shocking TV moment, that went on to be used as a clip on BBC’s Health and safety videos. And we also have our usual bits of GNSH trivia as well, including looking at the actors, and the music that featured in today's episode. Ron and Stella’s marriage woes go from bad to worse, and after all of the hard work that Gary puts in to help Yvonne find a job, it nearly all comes crashing down after Gary makes a fool of himself in front of Yvonne’s potential new boss, when they go out for dinner at a Japanese restaurant.
