    Someone You Love Has Had an Abortion

    This weeks episode is raw, and more vulnerable than I've ever been online. It was difficult for me to record and put out there, knowing how sensitive this subject is- and how I'm opening myself up to judgement and criticism. I always thought this would be the one thing I would never share online. But in light of the election, and the overturning of Roe V. Wade, my gut was telling me to share my experiences and highlight resources as well as places to donate to. The truth is- someone you love has probably had an abortion. And no one has an abortion with a smile on their face, trust me. If you or someone you know is in this position, and needs someone to talk to, my DMs are open. Abortion Resources & Places to Donate: HeyJane- Provides safe access to abortion pills in a discrete, delivery service. I have used this service, it's only available in the states where abortion is still legal. AbortionFunds- The National Network of Abortion Funds will connect you to an organization that will help you sort out your financial and logistical needs and do everything they can to remove the barriers between you and your abortion. Another great place to donate as well. AbortionFinder- Find a verified abortion provider Planned Parenthood- If you'd like to donate. Brigid Alliance- They provide funding for women who need to travel for abortion care.     RE-RUN: To Drink or Not to Drink?

    Unpacking my journey with alcohol, how my relationship with alcohol has evolved, and some tips/tricks to evaluate your relationship with alcohol or drink more mindfully. Vibe Check Questions: Am I drinking to make this "thing" bearable, or fun? Am I drinking to escape, cope, or blow off steam? Am I in a headspace where alcohol could potentially make matters worse? On Paper Exercise: On a piece of paper, break it out into 4 sections- When, Where, Why, How When- When am i drinking? This should be a short list but get specific. Fridays and Saturdays? Wednesday's and Saturdays? Etc Where- Where am i drinking? Happy hours, dates, weddings, holidays, etc. Maybe you can pick one from this list of "where" and decide you'll experiment with opting not to drink at this particular setting Why- This requires you to be super honest with yourself. Why am I drinking? Don't hold any shame- just ask yourself why and maybe you'll uncover some common themes to examine further. How- How do I feel before, during, and after?
