Abide+Obey

Last week, we talked about the importance and necessity of abiding in Jesus. This brings us to a question - to what end? As disciples of Jesus are we called to develop a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus that never extends or flows outwards? This week, we look at the second half of the opening in John 15 and learn about the importance and call of not only abiding in Jesus, but obeying Him. Obedience to Jesus’ commands is the assurance that we are actually abiding in Him.
