    Elon Musk: Cut $300 million from Planned Parenthood, Ukrainian official: “World War III has already begun”, Cuban Communists levying fines against churches

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Cuban Communists levying fines against churches A group of 63 Cuban Christian leaders, called the Alliance of Christians of Cuba is speaking out against the nation’s persecution of churches.   The Communist government has levied at least $43,000 in fines against Christian churches in 69 separate cases thus far this year. That’s equivalent to $1.4 million in the American economy, given the differences in median income for Cuba. The nation is facing its worst economic crisis in decades.   The Alliance of Christians of Cuba is calling the Cuban government “to protect fundamental human rights including the right to freedom of religion or belief.” Ukrainian official: “World War III has already begun” The authorization by the United Kingdom and the United States of the use of long-range missiles by the Ukrainian side in the Russian-Ukrainian war has led to heightened international tensions. Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK who formerly served as the Commander-in-Chief of the armies, publicly stated that "World War III has already begun,” reports Breitbart.  He was referencing recently increased assistance on the Russian side with Iran, China, and North Korea technology and forces. Special Counsel Jack Smith drops all charges against Trump On Monday, Special counsel Jack Smith filed motions to drop all federal charges against President-elect Donald Trump regarding both his mishandling of classified documents and his effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election in the lead-up to the January 6th riot at the U.S Capitol, reports NBC News. Hours later, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan  granted Smith's motion to dismiss the January 6-related indictment, formally bringing to an end the case that alleged Trump unlawfully conspired to overturn his 2020 loss to President Joe Biden. Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung called Smith's motions to dismiss a "major victory for the rule of law."  He added, "The American people and President Trump want an immediate end to the political weaponization of our justice system and we look forward to uniting our country." Trump picks homosexual for Treasury Secretary President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Scott Bessent, a homosexual and long-time supporter and business associate of leftist billionaire George Soros to the key position of Treasury Secretary, reports The Epoch Times. The appointment would mark the most powerful position ever held by a homosexual in the history of American governance. Pro-lifers object to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr to HHS In addition, pro-lifers and Christians are registering their concerns with the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to the key position of Secretary of Health and Human Services. Elon Musk: Cut $300 million from Planned Parenthood In a Wall Street Journal column, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy announced their plans to cut federal expenditures dramatically. They specifically mentioned cutting $300 million from Planned Parenthood and $535 million from Public Broadcasting Service.  Live Action, the pro-life group founded by Lila Rose, is spearheading a petition drive, urging key Trump cabinet members, like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., to defund Planned Parenthood. The mushrooming national debt The U.S. federal debt is growing faster than the Gross Domestic Product which is the measure of a country's economic activity that reflects the monetary value of its goods and services. Still, the Debt to GDP ratio stands at 121%. That’s up from 55% in 2001.   President Biden drove up the debt by $7 trillion over three years, an average of $2.3 trillion per year.  President Trump’s budgets drove up the debt $8.5 trillion over four years, or $2.1 trillion per year. Wanjala Hamidu, age 32, was a teacher at Swidiki Islamic School in Nankoma. When his brothers learned about his conversion, they confronted him at the school, demanding that he renounce Christ. After Hamidu refused, they beat him to death, yelling, “Infidel, infidel, shame, shame to our family!” His mother stood nearby shouting for help, but no one dared to defy the Muslim brothers. In Matthew 10:32, Jesus said, "Whoever acknowledges Me before others, I will also acknowledge before My Father in Heaven.” New York judge grants Trump request to file motion to dismiss charges Last Friday, Judge Juan Merchan granted President-elect Trump's request to file a motion to dismiss the charges in the hush money case and removed the sentencing date for the president-elect from the schedule, reports Fox News. Trump tapped Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence among others Speaking of Trump, he’s made more cabinet picks, reports The Epoch Times. He picked former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard to be the Director of National Intelligence, North Dakota’s Governor Doug Burgum to lead the Department of the Interior, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem to lead the Department of Homeland Security, former Rep. Doug Collins to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Rep. Elise Stefanik to be U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Will Elon Musk buy MSNBC? Comcast's corporate reorganization will move cable news channels CNBC and MSNBC, along with other TV brands, into a new company tentatively named SpinCo, sparking speculation about their future, reports Newsweek. Wall Street Mav tweeted, “Comcast is putting MSNBC up for sale. CNN just announced massive layoffs [are] coming. Maybe the new owners will figure out that lying non-stop to your audience is a lousy business model.” On Friday, Donald Trump Jr. jokingly suggested that Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the world's richest man and a Trump surrogate, buy the liberal network, calling it the "funniest idea." (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Anti-Christian hate crimes in Turkey have doubled The number of anti-Christian hate crimes in Turkey more than doubled from 2021 to 2023, according to an International Christian Concern analysis.  The Freedom of Belief Initiative, a religious freedom watchdog group, reports that hate crimes against Christ followers in Turkey jumped from 10 in 2021 to 22 in 2023.   Since 2020, Christians have experienced most of the religious hate crimes committed in Turkey, with 52 occurrences reported. The crimes include property damage, harassment, and violence.  In John 15:20, Jesus said, “If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” Int’l Criminal Court issues arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu In a shocking development, the International Criminal Court issued formal arrest warrants yesterday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for alleged Israeli “crimes against humanity” and “war crimes” committed in Gaza.   Gary Bauer, Founder of Campaign for Working Families, wrote, “Israel is fighting an existential war against Islamic supremacists who have promised a second Holocaust and vowed to destroy the state of Israel. And the International Criminal Court wants to put Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant on trial?   “This is what happens when nations surrender their sovereignty to globalist world government. The International Criminal Court is a creation of the United Nations, but functions independently of the U.N. The United States and Israel wisely opposed the creation of the International Criminal Court.” Bauer concluded, “Donald Trump imposed sanctions on International Criminal Court officials when they tried to go after U.S. troops who fought in Afghanistan. The Biden/Harris administration repealed those sanctions. This insane action ensures that the Trump/Vance administration will terminate any and all support for the International Criminal Court.” Matt Gaetz withdraws his name from U.S. Attorney General consideration Former GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida, a Trump loyalist, withdrew his name for U.S. Attorney General yesterday, reports NBC News. He tweeted, "It is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s Department of Justice must be in place and ready on Day 1.” Gaetz's path to being confirmed by the U.S. Senate was mired by a series of allegations of sexual misconduct, including his hiring prostitutes and having an intimate encounter with a minor at a 2017 party, according to leaks from the House Ethics Committee. The New York Times had reported that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine, and Senator-elect John Curtis of Utah had all indicated they would not confirm Gaetz as Attorney General. With a 53-member majority, four defections would be enough to defeat the nomination. Will Gov. Ron DeSantis appoint Gaetz as Senator to replace Marco Rubio? Questions have swirled on whether Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will now nominate Gaetz as his state's next senator. DeSantis must appoint a replacement for Senator Marco Rubio, who was tapped as Trump's secretary of state, should the Senate confirm him. Under the U.S. Constitution and Florida state law, the governor has the power to fill vacancies in the U.S. Senate while voters decide who fills empty seats in the U.S. House. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark European Christians faced 2,444 discriminatory incidents in 2024 Observatory on Intolerance Against Christians in Europe released a study this month entitled, “Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe Report 2024.” Christians faced 2,444 discriminatory incidents last year across 35 European countries. Those included 232 personal attacks like harassment and physical violence. The number of incidents is up from 1,029 in 2022. France, Germany, and the United Kingdom were hotbeds for discrimination.   The report noted, “A number of restrictions on religious freedom affecting Christians in Europe have been identified, concerning public prayer, religious manifestations, public expression of religious beliefs, religious autonomy, parental rights, and conscientious objection to military service and certain medical procedures.” 2 Timothy 3:12-13 says, “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Poland decriminalized abortion Poland’s parliament voted in favor of decriminalizing abortion on November 8. The left-liberal coalition of Prime Minister Donald Tusk supports the bill. He assumed the office last year. Tusk has already pushed for doctors to allow abortions whenever pregnancy is deemed a danger to woman’s health, even mental health.  Hospitals in Poland are already facing fines for not performing abortions in such cases. Court orders Colorado to pay Christian $1.5 million In the United States, the state of Colorado agreed to a $1.5 million settlement in a religious freedom case. Alliance Defending Freedom helped Lorie Smith in the case. She is a Christian graphic artist and owner of 303 Creative. For nearly seven years, the state tried to force her to promote messages through her work that go against her religious beliefs.  Alliance Defending Freedom President Kristen Waggoner said, “The government cannot force Americans to say things they do not believe, and Colorado officials have paid and will continue to pay a high price when they violate this foundational freedom.” Johnson won’t let Congressman pretending to be woman in women’s restrooms Congressional Republicans are standing against transgenderism. House Speaker Mike Johnson announced a new policy Wednesday, banning men, pretending to be women, from using women’s bathrooms. The rule applies to the House section of the Capitol building. Listen to Johnson’s comments to reporters. JOHNSON: “A man is a man, and a woman is a woman, and a man cannot become a woman. That's what Scripture teaches. “But I also believe that we treat everybody with dignity. So, we can do and believe all those things at the same time.” The policy comes as Delaware recently elected the first openly transgender member of Congress. The Democrat seat will be held by a man who was born Tim McBride, who served as American University student body president, but now calls himself Sarah McBride. In Mark 10:6, Jesus said, “From the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’” Texas Board of Education approves lessons on Christianity The Texas State Board of Education voted in favor of Christian curriculum on Tuesday. Board members voted 8-7 in the preliminary decision with an official vote scheduled for Friday. The curriculum in question is called Bluebonnet Learning. It includes lessons on the history of Christianity and sections from the New Testament.  Schools would have the option to adopt the curriculum with a financial incentive if they do. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus India falsely charges Christian groups with embezzlement After the Hindu nationalist BJP Party came to power in India at the national level in 2014, many large Christian organizations that had been receiving funds from abroad came under government scrutiny and were falsely charged with embezzlement and other invented corrupt financial practices, reports International Christian Concern. Recently, the government stated that many of these organizations were involved in alleged illegal religious conversion activities, too. For the first time, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has listed illegal religious conversion activities as a reason for blocking foreign funding of certain non-governmental organizations working in India. According to Open Doors, India is the 11th most difficult country worldwide in which to be a Christian. Proverbs 17:23 says, “Corrupt judges accept secret bribes, and then justice is not done.” Charles Barkley: Democrats lost because "y'all stupid" After Donald Trump’s landslide victory, former National Basketball Association star Charles Barkley had a word for the Democrats on the Steam Room podcast. BARKLEY: “And I just want to say this to the Democrats, I'm an independent who voted Democratic. Do me this favor. When you win, you get to say what you want to. When you lose, you need to shup up. “Oh, President Biden. They didn't get him out the race soon enough. Kamala didn't do this. We lost because we had no game plan. We still haven't solved the immigration problem. Have no viable answers. Never addressed inflation. “Bringing all these stupid stars out to rally to vote. What was that? Hey, I love Beyonce. What's bringing her out? That ain't gonna make me vote a certain way. Cardi B. I like Cardi B. That ain't gonna make me vote a certain type of way. You guys lost because y'all stupid.” Senator Ted Cruz objects to Democrats who want to censor conservatives And on Senator Ted Cruz’s podcast entitled “Verdict,” the Texas statesman  said Democrats are not interested in doing much introspection about their massive loss on Election Day. CRUZ: “The Democrats, they're not actually looking introspectively and saying, ‘Gosh, maybe we were wrong on the issues. Maybe the fact that over 70% of Americans thought we were on the wrong track. Maybe that's a problem. Maybe we shouldn't have had an open border and let this country be invaded. Maybe we shouldn't have spent money like drunken sailors and caused inflation that hurt working families across this country. “‘Maybe we shouldn't have waged a war on energy that hurt everyone who's struggling to make ends meet. Maybe we shouldn't have undermined our friends and allies, and we shouldn't have appeased our enemies. Maybe we shouldn't have given $100 billion to Iran that funds terrorists and Hamas and Hezbollah and causes a war. Maybe our policies are wrong.’ “That would be a rational and sensible thing for Democrats to do. So, they're not doing that.” Senator Cruz cited exhibit A of MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki who doubled down on censoring people like podcaster Joe Rogan who has challenged Democrats and dared to interview Trump for three unfiltered hours which enabled listeners to cast an informed vote. CRUZ: "Instead, they're saying, ‘Hmm, maybe if people just didn't know what we were doing. Maybe if they couldn't say what we were doing. Maybe if they couldn't criticize what we're doing. Yeah, that's how we'd win.’ “So, Jen Psaki, Joe Biden's former press secretary, went on a podcast and she said this, ‘One of the things that's changed ever since I got involved in politics is just the rise of the percentage of people who get their information off of platforms that have no fact-checking mechanism

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Rwanda eager to tax churches The Christian church faces more challenges in Africa. The Rwandan parliament is considering legislation which could impose taxes upon churches in that African nation. The Rwandan governance board has already shut down 8,000 churches that do not comply with certain standards. 4 Christians killed in Mozambique, Africa In addition, Barnabas Aid reports that four Christians were killed in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique by Islamic State radicals. 3 Nigerian pastors kidnapped by Muslims Plus, at least three pastors have been kidnapped by Muslim militants in Southern Nigeria over the last few weeks. Nigeria remains one of the most dangerous nations in the world for Christians in 2024.  Archbishop of Canterbury resigns over failure to discipline pedophile The top official in the Church of England, Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby has resigned his office. This comes after the release of a report investigating the 50-year abuse record of a church leader by the name of John Smyth. The church failed to discipline Smyth who had continued a pattern of sexual and physical abuse of boys in three different countries over a long period of time. Welby himself called the church’s response "a long-maintained conspiracy of silence about the heinous abuses of John Smyth.”  Welby's resignation also comes just a few weeks after he affirmed that homosexual activity was morally acceptable as long as there was what he called a “stable, committed and faithful relationship.” 1 Peter 4:17 states that “The time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of God?” Mali, Africa criminalizes homosexual behavior The parliament of the West African country of Mali passed a law banning homosexual behavior on October 31st, joining 30 other African nations taking the same position. African nations towards the south and east of the continent, however, have done just the opposite — with their government legitimizing the practice over the last 10 years. This includes Gabon, Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, and Namibia. Migration up 10% worldwide The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has released the International Migration Outlook Report for 2024.   It documents the highest level of migration from poor countries to rich countries in recorded history.  This accounts for 6.5 million immigrants, not counting the 4.7 million Ukrainian immigrants due to the war. That’s a 10% increase year-over-year. Nations reaching record levels of immigrants in 2023 included the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Japan, and Switzerland. Typhoon Man-yi in Philippines has 143 mile-per-hour winds (Sound from Typhoon Man-yi) The Philippines is bearing up under a record sixth typhoon this season. Typhoon Man-yi is equivalent to a Category 3 hurricane, sporting winds up to 143 miles per hour. More than half a million people have evacuated the Bicol region in Luzon to prepare for the storm. Thus far, seven people died in a related landslide, reports the Associated Press. At least 160 Filipinos have died in the previous five storms hitting the island nation this season.  Missouri greenlights abortion up until 21 weeks By a vote of 52% to 48%, Missouri voters have set the course for legislation to allow for abortion in their state up to the point of fetal viability or 21 weeks gestation. Only South Dakota retained a pro-life position in the November election. Florida’s vote to liberalize their abortion law failed by a 57-43% margin, just short of the 60% requirement. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslims killed four Christians in Kaduna State, Nigeria As a Nigerian Christian man named Kushuwai started harvesting rice with his family on November 8th in Jema’a County, he suddenly found himself in the middle of a nightmare, reports International Christian Concern. Muslim extremists, believed to be Fulani militants, attacked his farming community, killing four Christians and critically wounding several others in Southern Kaduna State. Kushuwai said, “They came in their numbers, armed with guns, knives, and machetes. They encircled us without firing a shot. My son begged them to spare us, but they attacked him instead. My daughters and the other women ran for their lives while I was struck down trying to intervene.”   Although Kushuwai survived with severe injuries, his son was brutally killed. In Romans 8:35, the Apostle Paul asked, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?“ Chinese student killed 8, injured 17 after failing exam On Saturday, a Chinese student killed eight people and injured 17 others in a stabbing attack at Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in Yixing city, China, reports One America News. Police stated that the suspect, who was arrested on the scene, was a recent graduate who was motivated to kill and maim because of “failing [an] exam, not receiving a graduation certificate, and dissatisfaction with internship compensation.”  Biden authorizes Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles inside Russia President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied long-range missiles to strike deeper inside Russia, easing limitations on the weapons as Russia deploys thousands of North Korean troops to reinforce its war, reports the Associated Press. The decision allowing Kyiv to use the Army Tactical Missile System for attacks farther inside Russia comes as President Vladimir Putin positions North Korean troops along Ukraine’s northern border to try to reclaim hundreds of miles of territory seized by Ukrainian forces. North Korea has provided thousands of troops to Russia to help Moscow try to claw back land in the Kursk border region that Ukraine seized this year. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and many of his Western supporters have been pressing Biden for months to allow Ukraine to strike military targets deeper inside Russia with Western-supplied missiles, saying the U.S. ban had made it impossible for Ukraine to try to stop Russian attacks on its cities and electrical grids. The Red State, a conservative website wrote, “Maybe Joe Biden didn't get the memo: he lost the presidential election and will be vacating the White House in January. It's an odd time to be announcing a significant--and perhaps escalatory--shift toward Ukraine as they try to stave off Russian aggression in the ongoing war between the two countries.” Trump picked Secretary of Energy President-elect Donald Trump has named energy industry executive Chris Wright as his choice to lead the Department of Energy, pending Senate confirmation, reports The Epoch Times. The Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in the state just six months ago. Hindu nationalist groups in the state have disrupted multiple prayer and worship gatherings of Christians recently. They even evicted a pastor and his wife from a church.  A local pastor told International Christian Concern, “These incidents cropped up only after the [Bharatiya Janata Party] came to power in Odisha. We know that it will continue in the days ahead. Only God can help us.” 1 Peter 4:12-13 says, “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.” Few Finnish young people believe in God The Church Research Institute released a report on the religiosity of young people in Finland. The study found only 11% of women under 30 believe in the God of Christianity. The younger women were, the less likely they were to believe in God. Meanwhile, 18% of men said they believe in God. And younger men were more likely to believe in God than older men.  Hanna Salomäki, Director of The Church Research Institute, noted, “There is a certain degree of strengthening in religiosity – and specifically in interest in Christianity – among young men. But we are not talking about any large scale. … But there is a smaller group who are clearly finding Christianity and committing themselves to it.” Gender gap revealed in presidential election CNN released exit poll data from the 2024 U.S. presidential election.  Vice President Kamala Harris led among women by eight percentage points. President-elect Donald Trump led among men by 13 points. While Kamala led among young voters, Trump has gained ground with that demographic over the last three presidential elections. Even 40% of women under 30 voted for Trump. Trump taps Senator Marco Rubio to be Secretary of State On Wednesday, President-elect Donald Trump announced Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is his pick for Secretary of State, reports NBC News. I look forward to working with Marco to make America, and the world, safe and great again.”  Trump nominates RFK Jr as Secretary of Health and Human Services In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be his Secretary of Health and Human Services, reports LifeSiteNews.com. He wrote, “For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to public health. The safety and health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming health crisis in this country. “Mr. Kennedy will restore these agencies to the traditions of gold standard scientific research, and beacons of transparency, to end the chronic disease epidemic, and to make America Great and Healthy Again!” Kennedy, the nephew of the late President John F.
