With an MBA and three decades of experience in the non-profit sector, Alison Stutz is a passionate advocate for a barrier-free Alberta and the Deaf and hard of hearing community. As a bilateral hearing aid user, Alison brings both personal insight and dedication to the cause. For the past five years, she has served as the CEO of Deaf & Hear Alberta, spearheading initiatives to promote communication equity and inclusivity.

Motivated by a profound desire to give back and create meaningful change, Alison has consistently focused on ensuring that Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals have equal access to opportunities and resources. A significant aspect of her work involves raising awareness within the hearing population to foster understanding and support for communication equity. Through her tireless efforts and advocacy, Alison aims to break down barriers and create a more inclusive society.
