Monsters Among Us

I started this podcast years ago, the first was a hospital special. I have been addicted since. I highly recommend this podcast for spooky season year round. Derek does such a good job giving his thoughts at the end of each callers story, even just the music in the podcast makes me excited each time a new episode is released, I never give reviews unless I feel so strongly about it!

With so many ads, my favorite show is now almost unlistenable. Add to that the new focus on music and it’s RIP my favorite show. Maybe start something new for music lovers? People don’t generally listen to talking podcasts for the tunes. Also, please don’t play callers who are drunk/under the influence and with bad mobile reception.

Cannot get passed the irritating fake voice the host just won’t let go of. I think he believes it’s a “spooky” voice? Awkward long pauses are hair pulling too. As if that weren’t enough, after a fake call finishes where a person calls in to lie about about seeing something(it’s so obvious due to liars never seeing all the tell tale cues making it obvious to others they are lying) the host googles the place or subject they speak of. Then he drones on in that maddening way reading straight from google paraphrasing as if he is an expert on everything. Don’t waste your time. Only naive children find it palatable.
