Addiction & The Path To Recovery

In this week's episode, Emily got to sit down and chat with Integrative Health Coach and new friend, Vanessa Failor. Vanessa has recently celebrated 5 months of sobriety following her move to Denver, Colorado and she shares her vulnerabilities with her past struggles with addiction. Instantly upon meeting Vanessa, I felt a kindred spirit between us, which made this interview and conversation so enjoyable to have and flowed so seamlessly. She is someone who you can instantly open up to and I think that is a trait you will be able to hear during our episode together as well. Vanessa shares her journey through outpatient therapy, AA and the trials and tribulations that have come along with that. There's so much more to Vanessa's story then just substance abuse. Addiction can manifest itself in many ways and that is one thing we touch on quite a bit in this episode. She is always going to be recovering, but you can feel this woman blooming underneath it all and shedding the title "addict". I hope you enjoy this week's episode!
