After Hours AM with Jeff Mudgett star of "American Ripper"

Join us for a terrifying, stunning episode of After Hours AM/The Criminal Code — True Crime with hosts Joel Sturgis, Eric Olen, and secret weapon, forensic psychologist Dr. Clarissa Cole — as we reveal exclusive details about HISTORY’s new American Ripper with series star and H.H. Holmes descendant Jeff Mudgett. Jeff will join usTop of hour 2; at hour 1, Clarissa will unearth the week’s most compelling and odd True Crime headlines. In HISTORY’s new eight-part series American Ripper, which premiered last night and runs Tuesdays at 10pE/P, the great-great-grandson of Chicago serial killer H.H. Holmes, Jeff Mudgett, is determined to prove a mind-boggling theory: that H.H. Holmes and Britain’s notorious serial killer, Jack the Ripper, were the same man. In addition, Mudgett leads an investigation that secured permission to exhume the presumed body of H.H. Holmes for DNA testing to determine whether he pulled off the ultimate con, escaping the gallows to lead a second secret life. Herman Mudgett, alias H.H. Holmes, was one of America’s first serial killers, rumored to have claimed as many as 200 lives in the late 19th century. A con man, opportunist and evil genius, the crowning achievement of his dark deeds was the construction of a building later dubbed the Murder Castle: a hotel on Chicago’s south side that he engineered to be a factory of death, complete with a gas chamber, dissection room, trap doors and a basement furnace to destroy any trace of his sinister work. Nearly simultaneously, a still-unidentified murderer known as Jack the Ripper was terrorizing prostitutes on the grim streets of London’s Whitechapel district. From the moment 20 years ago when Mudgett’s world was shaken at the revelation that he was the descendant of H.H. Holmes, he became obsessed with acquiring information about his ancestor. Through extensive research, he began to believe the

The Ghost Wolves simply deliver. Their second full length album, “TEXA$ PLATINUM” was released in April of 2017 by German rock & roll label Hound Gawd! Records. With song titles like “Whettin My Knife,” it is not hard to imagine what this new album may be about. The band is Carley Wolf on guitar and vocals, and Jonny Wolf on drums, synthesizer and vocals. They formed in Austin, Texas in 2010. Some of their influences include artists like Hasil Adkins, Joan Jett, R.L. Burnside, The Ramones, The Kills, Ronnie Dawson, Death Grips, Jessie Mae Hemphill. The Joan Jett connection goes further as it was the legendary punk guitar player Cheetah Chrome (of Dead Boys fame) that signed them to their last record deal. His own backing band featured members of the Black Hearts. The Ghost Wolves 2 It’s no surprise that Carley Wolf’s guitar playing gets attention. After Hours AM "Born Aware: Stories and Insights from Those Spiritually Aware Since Birth," with D

On an edifying and elevating episode of After Hours AM/America’s Most Haunted Radio — with hosts Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen — we welcome Intuitive Counselor and author Diane Brandon, whose latest book Born Aware, examines those spiritually aware since birth. We speak with Diane at Hour 2; at Hour 1 we explore Joel’s weekend hunting Bigfoot and are joined by Abe Del Rio of the Minnesota Bigfoot Research Team and Marc Ruyak of Remer, MN, the “Home of Bigfoot.” BORN AWARE: STORIES and INSIGHTS from THOSE SPIRITUALLY AWARE SINCE BIRTH Some people have a conscious spiritual awareness at birth that is mature and clear. Born Aware delves into the effects of having been born conscious of our higher soul connection, what we can learn from it, and the implications for human consciousness and spirituality. Having innate spiritual awareness has affected Diane Brandon’s life in remarkable ways, and this book chronicles her experiences as well as her efforts to learn from others who have been spiritually aware since birth. Using personal accounts and her own insights, Diane shows you how to access your spiritual awareness, even if you weren’t born aware. It is widely accepted that infants, prior to the age of two, are only conscious of their physical bodies. Although self-awareness is the critical trait of being human, researchers have agreed that infants possess emotional and mental amnesia. However, some infants might have been alert and perceived their thoughts and environments with a clarity that they still remember today. Their awareness might have also coincided with pre-birth memories. In her new book Born Aware, Diane Brandon releases findings which reveal that infants have pre-birth, at-birth, and soon-after- birth memories. There are two types of people who were born aware: those who remember their thoughts, perceptions, and environment but were not spiritually

He demanded that the body be cremated without an autopsy. This book traces the two-and-a-half year investigation by the New Jersey State Police, headed by Colonel H. Norman Schwarzkopf, which led to the arrest, trial, conviction, and execution of Bruno Richard Hauptmann. It challenges the effectiveness of the investigation, and the evidence advanced by the prosecution, which convicted Hauptmann. It also details the role that Mr. Lindbergh played in the investigation.
