Utah State men’s basketball (19-3, 9-2 MW) suffered its third loss of the season and second of Mountain West play Saturday evening inside of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, falling to New Mexico 82-63. In a battle between the top two teams in the Mountain West standings, poor free throw shooting and a strong second half from the visitors led to the loss for the Aggies in front of a sold-out Spectrum crowd. The 19-point loss is the first loss of the season by more than three points for USU. Utah State hits the road for a pair of games next week, beginning on Feb. 4, when the team takes on Wyoming. Hear reactions from Coach Jerrod Calhoun, players and fans.
