Great show - sorry I just found it

I have become a fan of clay temple media and pretty much all of their shows. I found them first through their Gene Wolf podcast. Then discovered that they did Neil Gaiman‘s Sandman podcast. Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite living authors, and his Sandman, is one of my favorite works of literature.

Then I discovered that Glen did this podcast. And I’m really loving it, and I’m so sorry that it pod-faded, and he hasn’t done any episodes for about three years. I hope he does some more again someday soon. But I totally understand he may be overwhelmed with the shows he’s already doing. Even with the episodes we have, this podcast is like taking a fascinating course. Which is appropriate since Glenn is a scholar and teacher in the subject of late antiquity, early medieval, and Byzantine history

Academic but Effable

I really enjoy this podcast. It feels like having a conversation with various historical experts on the topics that they most love.

Byzantine history

My podcast queue is full of shows about ancient history, and this a worthy one to add to it. This is a good one that keeps you up to date on current research in this area.
