On January 13th 1982, Air Florida flight 90, a Boeing 737-200, crashed seconds after takeoff from National Airport in Washington D.C. Briefly becoming airborne, it struggled to climb away in heavy snow and started to drop like a stone. The plane clipped a bridge, killing 4 people in their vehicles, before slamming into the frozen Potomac River. There were only 5 survivors. What went wrong?
