Question!!!

Hello!!

I'm Shiori(she/her), originally from Japan, but I currently live in NY. I've been listening to your podcast before I moved to NY, and it's super helpful to improve my English skills! I recommend this podcast to all my Japanese friends around me, and everyone loves it!

I have a question about using the idiom “in a way.” I've heard of it many times within your conversation, for example, from the episode 2052, “This is kind of like very in fashion IN A WAY because of this moment we’re living in the world.” I looked up several dictionaries, but I just can't seem to get the nuances of the words. Could you please explain how and when you put this idiom in your sentences naturally?

Thank you in advance!! Love you!!

A nice English learning place

I like your podcasts a lot. But your app charges too much for non-dollar currency country. Would you consider to lower your price? Like $1.99 monthly?
I believe you'll get more subscribers.

“Like”

I really tried to like this podcast and although the content is useful, I’m afraid this episode (9/6) would be my only listen. The fast-talking voice of one of the hosts gave me anxiety and the overuse of the word “like” was a total turn off for me. I do appreciate your work! Thank you!
