Created in 2012 by a group of Real-Life Superheroes (RLSH) called "The Initiative" (www.initiativecollective.com), hosts "Rock N Roll" and "NightBug" of the California Initiative and "Impact" of the Xtreme Justice League (St. Petersburg branch) bring on guest speakers and other RLSH to discuss timely info, safety tips, survival skills, and geeky fun.

    Cultivating Accountability Culture

    A long time ago, in an age well before COVID-19... the real-life superhero community had a counter-balance: Real-life supervillains. Unlike their comic-book counterparts who typically sought only money, chaos, or to become top of the villainous "food chain," RLSV actually helped to bring a sense of integrity and heretofore-unknown levels of accountability by calling out individuals or groups who, to put it nicely, had room for improvement in the way they chose to be "heroic." Fast-forward to 2021: The RLSV have all but vanished or renounced their villainous ways, leaving RLSH to police themselves. But just how well is that working out? In this age of so-called "cancel culture," can real-life superheroes now do the job that once required villainous intervention? Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? Tune in to Heroes 101 Radio this WEDNESDAY, March 17th, 6pm PT/9pm ET and cross your fingers that we'll hear from some villainous guests (who are still checking their dastardly datebooks)!
