The Driskill Hotel

This was the place to be for many of the political figures of Texas, including LBJ and his wife "Lady Bird" Johnson. Jayson and Kathi have excellent banter. I felt like they warm up their pod with interesting chit chat, giving us a wonderful insight to their personalities, and then they kept the show moving with some excellent urban legends! Big fan of them and BIG fan of the pod!
An all out smorgasbord of all things spooky
Jay and his family do a great job covering all things spooky. The topics range from history, myths, legends, music, movies, true crime, festivals, cultures, and anything else that strikes their fancy. Shows are intertwined with what’s going on in their personal lives which also keeps the listener engaged. It’s obvious it’s their first podcast as there are some significant audio issues in the early episodes but as of writing this, it looks like they have figured out most, if not all, of the bugs on that side. There is some cursing so if you’re easily offended, this might not be for you. But it’s all in good fun and never done in a discriminatory manner. If Halloween is your favorite holiday, I’d highly recommend giving them a listen.
