All Our Brave Hearts Podcast
Hosted by Danny Whitty, a nonspeaking autistic advocate, and his sister and ally, Tara. We share and explore our experiences as a disabled person and one of his main allies, but this is about more than disability: this is about rethinking the human connection. About how we can change the world through our own ways of connecting with and truly caring about others. About trusting that our hearts can be brave enough to understand people who might seem so different from us. All our brave hearts, together! allourbravehearts.substack.com

As a mom of a young minimally speaking autistic son, so much of our family’s time is consumed by questions and therapies and fears for his future. These insightful conversations Danny and his sister share with us are insightful and reassuring, and give me hope for my son’s future. I would love to hear more about Danny spelling journey and how we can all foster this form of communication in our kids and acceptance for spelling in the greater world.
So grateful for this!

I am an autistic adult, but I talk A LOT! One of my kids is a non-speaker & complex communicator. I am constantly moved by this podcast. The information is excellent. Even more importantly, imho, is the opportunity to listen in as Danny and his sister Tara, who is one of his main communication/regulation partners, connect and communicate in real time. It feels so lucky that I get to be one of my son’s primary communication partners in this stage of his life…but I also hope that as he grows he will be able to develop those intimate, supportive relationships with others who can connect with him as peers in ways that I never could. I am so grateful to be able to learn more about interdependence & non-speaking communication support through this podcast—for myself as an advocate and support person, but also so that I can help my son continue to build the kinds of relationships he wants and needs for the future. 💞♾️🙏🏼
Fantastic!

This podcast brings many joyful moments and lots of amusing banter between siblings while educating and enlightening a wide audience about non speakers and disability. It’s so refreshing to hear such sincere discussion between a non speaker and their primary support person. As an educator, I find this so powerful, but I feel that all people with find this beautiful and enriching.
