Amazing sound Biblical teaching. Pastor John, Pastor David, and Pastor Brandon speak Truth and make the Word come alive. Pastor John is not only a Pastor but a teacher. He dissects each Bible verse and his expository teaching is so clear and wonderful that it just makes you want to dive into the Word more and more, and live out a life walking and breathing JESUS !

The JRC services always challenge me to live a life full devoted to God in all ways. I seek to be a man after God’s heart when I’m challenged from the word at James River.

They are NAR and follow Bill Johnson and Randy Clark. Sometimes blatant and sometimes subtle… but it is dangerous and deceptive. Stay clear of James River and their complete disregard for people of God. They will fleece you fast.

So glad I found James River! These are the kind of sermons I grew up with! Theologically sound with great life application! I’m involved with my local church, but listen to the JR podcasts and watch on YouTube regularly! What a blessing!

I’ve recently began going to hot yoga to try and recoup from an injury and was enjoying the workout! But I never could understand the purpose of yoga. I didn’t want to ask for fear of looking like an idiot... so I would just attend class and do the stretches. I always had a problem calling it a ‘practice’ because to me, it was only a workout. But now that I listened to this INCREDIBLE message, I now understand! My naivety was protecting me from what I did not understand. Thank you for speaking truth to this!

After moving away with my parents in 2010 I couldn't help but still keep in touch with these sermons after 5 years. God bless James River Church.
