Make sure you read your Bible along with the study
Some of the implications he draws are inaccurate when one reads the actual words of the scripture and the placement of those words within the sentence. For example, in Lesson 13, with the discussion of Genesis 3:16, it is the multiplication of the “pain” of the woman during the birth of a child, and not a multiplication of the “number” of children women have, that God declares as punishment for sin. Thus, his implication that, the increased number of children women have in third world countries is the judgement or consequence of the fall, is quite questionable. His implication is also at odds with God’s previous direction to be fruitful and fill the earth.
Also questionable is his comment about this country being founded by Godly men as the reason this country is “blessed.” That assumes materialism is the sole definition of blessed, and that ignores what Jesus defines as blessed during his sermon on the Mount.
This is a bible study, and it would be better if he limited his comments to what the scripture says, and reserves his opinions to another podcast.
