Amy Heymans

Woman to Woman

Amy believes that purpose-driven design can help improve the human condition and therefore co-founded Mad*Pow. Her organization now is focused on evolving health and finance systems to form experience strategies that deliver both social impact and business results. She applies her expertise in improving experiences as a strategy consultant, leadership advisor, speaker, writer, teacher, and facilitator. Amy was acknowledged as one of Mass High Tech's "Women to Watch", BBJ's “40 Under 40”, MedTech Boston's "40 Under 40", PharmaVoice Magazine's "100 Most Inspiring People" and NHBR's "Outstanding Woman in Business". Amy is on the board of An Orphan’s Dream, a nonprofit organization offering an oasis for AIDS-orphaned children in Gachoka, Kenya and she serves on the Advisory Council of Ward Infinity, a social innovation program at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital. She is ever curious and is now expanding her horizons through studies in Futures Thinking at the University of Houston.
