An Offering of Extravagant Worship (Jeremy Springer)

In John 12, Mary's extravagant offering poured out on Jesus was criticized as a waste by Judas but was called worship by Jesus. He declared in Matthew 26 that "wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her."

In this teaching and exhortation, we open up the invitation of the Lord to move from being a giver to developing the heart of a giver like our Father who is extravagant in His generosity.

We don't want selfish and lacking. We want generous and abundant. We want the joy of bringing offerings to the feet of Jesus and breaking it open before Him with tears of thanksgiving.
