Not what I expected
I was searching for a podcast that would give me Ancient Greek history as I don’t know too much about it. This podcast didn’t do it for me (keep in mind that I stopped listening after the Sparta and Athens episode). The narrator is really easy to listen to and interesting, but I didn’t learn much actual HISTORY from the episodes. The Trojan War episode didn’t discuss the Trojan War at all - I got no information about what happened during the war from it. The Sparta and Athens episode was pretty interesting but I couldn’t listen to any more episodes because I just wasn’t getting what I was looking for. Perhaps I just didn’t pay enough attention to the description of the podcast, but it wasn’t for me. I do really like the narrator though and will listen to future things by him.
