I’m 25 episodes in, cherry picking bands I know, sprinkling in the chronological (& able to stand on their own episodes) too. This show covers so much! How bands are made of people. What the industry can do to and for a musician. How time and location factor into the creative process (the wannabe anthropologist in me loves that bands & sounds are now logged as an oral history. Florida punk 🤘🏼). The last show I saw//near me only had 1 band (of 6) I actively enjoy but the available interviews from Shane were the perfect supplement to previewing music of genres not usually in my rotation.

As a singer-songwriter myself, who has experienced highs and lows—I find it easy to relate to Shane and his guests on the show. To hear people talk about their aspirations and dreams similar to my own has been nothing short of uplifting and has saved me in a way. Music lovers will undoubtedly enjoy this podcast, which sheds a lot of light on the industry. For me, it’s even more personable getting to hear so many artists with likeminded viewpoints to my own. Thank you for an awesome podcast! 🤙🏼

I really love hearing about these guests and their experiences! Ultimately a cool podcast, but the interviewing could use some fine-tuning imho. In the Tades from HM episode especially, it was a lot of Shane cutting him off (and actually saying "I'm going to cut you off") and interjecting his own stories right after asking a question. Mad respect to Shane and his experiences, but it felt like a conversation flow killer, and it took a bit of time to get the back and forth volleying going again in the first half. Didn't feel like a conversation or interview, just some clunky in between. Still a really great podcast though.
One of the best podcast around!

If you love music then you will fall in love with lead singer syndrome. I absolutely adore Shane and love all the interviews. Of course I’m a huge Silverstein fan. I’m here for the nostalgia from when I was a teen listening to my favorite lead singers relive all the memories of touring during the peak of MySpace days and of course some of the best shows I ever attended. I really appreciate all the honesty and insight into some very raw topics that molded these amazing people. Give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed. If you love finding new music this is the way right here. Keep it up!!!
