Miami and Ole Miss certainly make the list. So does Penn State. Does Ohio State? Or is it just Ryan Day? Does Colorado belong given that Deion Sanders’ sons (and Travis Hunter) will probably be finished in Boulder after this season?
What other schools belong on the list? Jump in the chat and chime in.
Next, Texas State coach G.J. Kinne joins to discuss following up on the Bobcats’ best season since they moved to the FBS level. Kinne also makes his case for coaches to be included in next year’s version of EA College Football.

On3’s Pete Nakos joins Andy to discuss some very interesting information that came out of the On3 Elite Series last week. Players anonymously answered a survey about NIL and how it is affecting their recruitment, and the results were surprising.
Plus, Florida is the latest state to allow NIL for high-schoolers. Two players who attended the Elite Series, receiver Jamie Ffrench and DB Vernell Brown III, have already struck deals with American Eagle.
We move from Nakosifications to Fong Bombs as On3’s Steve Wiltfong joins to break down a news-heavy week for the recruiting class of 2025. QB Keelon Russell (Duncanville, Texas) flipped his commitment from SMU to Alabama on Tuesday. Who might be the next to flip? Also, which schools gained ground with top recruits during the first big official visit weekend of the cycle?

Which coaches can work their way off the hot seat? | The NCAA has chosen the hill on which to die
It’s a Dear Andy show, but before we get to your questions, there is a ton of news to discuss…
(0:00-13:16) Intro: More Kickoff Times Announced
(13:17-24:31) Pete Nakos Joins to break down Transfer Portal Settlement
(24:32-28:44) Governance of College Sports moving forward

(29:00-34:59) Hot Seat Watch - Recap of Eliah Drinkwitz and Neal Brown
(35:00-43:27) Billy Napier
(43:28-47:59) Sam Pittman
(48:00-51:07) Dave Aranda
(51:08-57:26) Colorado Miss Bowl Game AND Travis Hunter win Heisman?
(57:25-59:03) Arch Manning takes over or Non-Power 2 Champion?
(59:04-1:09:10) SEC Trips on November 9th and 16th for Jim
(1:09:11-1:10:20) Wrapping up the week
(1:10:21-1:12:37) Northwestern's Temporary Home
The SEC dropped a bunch of early-season kickoff times Thursday and — more importantly — promised to deliver the kickoff times for most of the rest of the season on June 11. Of note, the first SEC edition of the Red River Rivalry will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT. Also, the Egg Bowl (Mississippi State at Ole Miss) and Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate (Georgia Tech at Georgia) are moving to Black Friday.
In other news, the NCAA settled a federal lawsuit with the Department of Justice and various state attorneys general over transfer rules. Essentially, there won’t be any. On3’s Pete Nakos will explain why the NCAA rolled over on an issue that has a huge effect on football and basketball.
Now it’s time for your questions…
Which coaches could make an off-the-hot-seat comeback the way West Virginia’s Neal Brown did last year?
Could two-way Colorado star Travis Hunter win the Heisman Trophy if the Buffaloes don’t make a bowl game?
Which SEC games should Jim from Michigan attend in November?
What is more likely: Arch Manning takes over for Ewers during the season, or a non-Power 2 school wins the Natty?

Cheating
Andy, I love the show , but this last show of gushing over JH, is a stretch at best, they cheated & all the evidence that they have of this, even when UM wins the title its gonna be stripped in 2yra & that game Monday was mistake ridden on both sides, Michigan just happened to be the winner of Bama not getting the calls & breaks that they’ve had all year,UGA beats Michigan by 10 easy
Andy great host but needs a co-host
Andy I think you are the best host in college football. But honestly you need a co-host. The conversations are so much better than just the one way radio. That back and forth is critical in today’s podcast environment. Maybe it’s just personal preference but all of the best podcasts and shows have dual hosts. Best radio shows as well. Even Francesca needed mad dog. PMT is built on PFT and Big Cat’s relationship.
Stick to college football
Ya lost me when you said people want to watch the garbage that happened at the end of the women’s SEC basketball tournament final. First, what people REALLY want is to not be subjected to your opinions on college basketball, men’s or women’s. Second, not all of us are interested in brawls and classlessness. I teach my young daughters to keep their composure, rather than losing their cool and being mentally small. Things happen, sure, but it doesn’t mean we should celebrate it. But I guess if all you care about is the drama surrounding sports, and not actually the sports themselves, then knock yourself out. But don’t lump those of us who actually want to watch the sport in with the ones who care more about the kardashian type nonsense that sometimes accompanies it.
