Welcome back to Bears of a Certain Age! This is a brand new segment we are starting, our "4th Friday Coffee Talk," which will be taking place at 7am PST / 10am EST on the fourth Friday of every month. The Chat will then be uploaded to your favorite streaming service that afternoon. This event series is presented by Bear World Magazine and co-hosted by Bear World Magazine founder, Richard Jones and Bears of a Certain Age host, and network owner, Scott Fullerton.

This new feature is designed to build community in our gay bear and chub communities and, primarily ages 50 and up, and of course our admirers, no matter their community or age. We will be available LIVE on YouTube, Instagram, and in our Riverside FM Studio and you can chat with us in the chat room. You can listen on your phones or on your computers. We will have special guests, talk about upcoming events in our communities, helpful hints and recommendations and just some fun and laid back chat over your preferred beverage of choice.

They reflect on their experiences in Palm Springs and Key West, the challenges posed by social media, and the future direction of their publication, including the introduction of newsletters and local business guides. In this conversation, Richard Jones and Scott Fullerton discuss the transition from social media to newsletters as a means of communication within the queer community. They emphasize the importance of supporting local queer businesses and fostering community connections. The discussion highlights the need for collaboration over competition among queer media outlets and the significance of direct communication with audiences.
