So, to be honest - I went into listening to this Podcast kinda with the same "energy" that I do with ANY podcast that I listen to...that "energy" can be described as me wanting to listen and pay attention, but I'm probably multi-tasking, so it's "hit or miss" in terms of the impact of the Podcast or program I'm trying to listening to. With Arc Benders this morning, I felt compelled to listen because of the connection I share with the hosts - I know them! But, this morning - like all mornings - I still knew I would be in my normal "energy" mode of "doing stuff" while listening. I started down my normal road of checking emails while listening to Arc Benders, but then something happened - I removed my hand from the mouse and grabbed the coffee instead! I actually started listening, laughing, going "uh-huh" and "right on!". Crazy, right? Well, I think I know why (and this is for the other listeners out there): yes, I know the hosts, so you could probably argue a "sense of obligation" for me even being here...but, as I listened, I started to hear the SAME traits, characteristics, beliefs, purpose, and overall "good" from the people I've already come to know and respect. That's important to me - KNOWING that the people I am listening to are honest and sincere about what they are saying, standing for. That could play a part into why I often multi-task when listening to others - I take what I can grab when I hear something, but I've never developed into a podcast "fan" for fear of taking advice from someone living in a bunker (no offense). I could go on and on about this, but I'll stop short by saying that Christina and Alisa LIVE THIS - they are "about that life" that they speak of. To see these folks on a daily basis strive to make the world a better place - then to see this Podcast come to life through an honest representation of what they do - is truly refreshing...and provides me with a bit of relief knowing that there are people (not only them) who are really trying to do whatever they can to make this place better. I'm just glad I actually know these people! LOL! I love the Podcast! Congratulations to the Hosts for getting this done! And keep 'em coming!
