Architectural Technology, Designing and Engineering the Future through Hip-Hop and Nature with Iddris Sandu Pt 1

Simplexity with Alyson Stoner

What do the Kardashev Scale, Deiter Rams, Nipsey Hussle, and C# together? Today’s guest: Iddris Sandu.

At 23, the Ghanaian-born, Compton-raised architectural technologist has designed, programmed and built critical tech for the world’s corporate giants (Google, Boeing) and top apps and services (Uber, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook). He engineered the world’s first smartstore with the late Nipsey Hussle (rest in power), and he’s the founder and owner of spatialLABS, EthosDNA, and Halt, not to mention a rising music video director and artist.

Over Part 1 and 2 of Iddris’ interview, we’ll use hip hop to break down computer programming and vertical integration, nature to understand technology and design, and engineering hacks that we can apply to our own lives. He’ll offer predictions for the future of digitalization and advice for self- and public education, and he’ll help us ditch the excuses that hold us back. Don’t worry, you’ll fall down the best rabbithole after this.
