    Mind-Matter with Dr. Pamela Stoodley

Pamela states the first step to change is awareness of what you are doing and thinking.     4 Life Stages

    Last week Brendon Burchard did a training on New Year's Day that included what he considers 4 Life Stages. 1) Mimicry & Belonging--Mimicry is copying or imitating. Belonging is connection and love. 2) Rebellion & Independence--Rebellion is resistance. Independence is not being influenced by others. 3) Rhythm & Hustle--Rhythm is routine, rituals or habits. Hustle is being busy, working quickly, or feeling like you are behind. 4) Renewal & Leadership--Renewal is reinvention or resetting. Leadership refers to both self and social leadership.   These 4 Life Stages are not sequential but rather are concepts or ideas of how people learn, interact and could describe various times in people's lives.   In this episode, I will define and give examples of these 4 Life Stages. I want you to think about these stages and ask yourself some questions. Where can you see yourself in these stages? What examples from your own life can be related to these stages? Are there some stages that you want to be in more? How about less? What is one thing you need to do to be fully present in the stage of life you want to be in right now? We all cycle in and out of Brendon’s 4 stages of life: mimicry & belonging, Rebellion and Independence, Rhythm and Hustle, Renewal and Leadership. All are necessary and are not all bad for us. All these stages teach us something. Life is full of stages and choices.
