Art for Profit's Sake
Art for Profit’s Sake is a series of discussions with artists working at different stages of their business. It explores the entrepreneurship, successes, and failures that all artists go through when finding their niche and developing their income. It aims to break the myth of the polarity of starving artist vs international success and instead focuses on the hard work and constant learning that is required when your passion to create art drives your practicality. Hosted by Nick Ribera (aka Chain Assembly), an artist, illustrator, and creator who’s been working in the small business art scene

Dude works hard on this. And I always learn something interesting when I listen.
Weird vibe

I stumbled across this review episode of the Hallmark Christmas movie "Leah's Perfect Gift," and I'm amused. Leslie slipping into such a patronizing tone with Nick about an inconsequential scene he missed really echoed the toxic mom from the film. Was that intentionally left in the episode because they thought it would be funny or was it a cry for help from Nick? I have no idea. I agree mostly with their take on the movie. I don't remember it having issues with the audio, but my family doesn't take these movies seriously & mostly just watch to laugh at how silly they can be. I get the feeling I would feel the same about this podcast if I listened again.
Great episode!

Lots of fun conversations. Tons of great advice for artist and market vendors.
