As the Season Turns

'As the Season Turns' is a podcast created by Ffern (www.ffern.co) and presented by the nature writer Lia Leendertz. Each episode, released on the first of every month, is a guide to what to look out for in the month ahead - from the sky above to the land below. Ffern is a natural fragrance maker based in Somerset. Working with the rhythms of the seasons, they blend, barrel-age and bottle four fragrances a year, released at the equinox and solstice. Each fragrance is made to order for the names on the Ffern production ledger. To join the ledger and find out more visit www.ffern.co

I feel like I received such a gift stumbling onto this gem of a podcast. The episodes are so calming. I love that there is real magic and whimsy with these wonderfully basic topics. My heart rate slows when I listen and I feel like a young child enjoying the simplest of pleasures. Thank you for having the courage to capture such simplicity and natural beauty. 🥰

This podcast is one of the highlights of my month. It’s calming, beautiful, and full of learning. It reminds me to slow down and look around and not lose my curiosity and care of the world and then small moments.

I discovered this podcast after getting a knowing, targeted ad in Instagram for Ffern, the perfumery. So I’m grateful! I am passing this along and a new project is to listen each month to the new as well as the past years for each month - what a treat! Listen to the “Found Sounds” with headphones - the voices are so pleasant, the British accent and sound quality, and the content both predictable and stable and yet whimsical and always something new to learn that is relevant to the season. Thank you so much for this masterpiece of art!
Lovely
