If you grew up like I did, then your weekly entertainment diet consisted of copious amounts of what we now call “screen time.” Of course, at that time, your grandmother affectionately called your silver screened friend the Idiot Box. But whatever you called it, it gave you priceless knowledge: “If we dropped a live elephant in Vietnam, would it save Denis Leary’s career?” or “If I find the Ark of the Covenant, will it melt my face like wax?” This is where the podcast comes in. They have answers. Maybe not the answers you’re looking for, and likely not the answers to the aforementioned questions, but answers nonetheless. You’ll laugh, cringe, and maybe a little innocence will die, but why else are we here on this earth anyway?
