A true multi-faceted Gemini, Linnea talks about her many careers and interests: acting, singing, animal rights, and even applying to be a Los Angeles police officer! Andy and Linnea also discuss her introverted and shy Virgo moon — and how she overcame its more challenging qualities to grace screens and stages around the world. 17 - Chart & Chat: Eric Nies
“The Real World: New York” alum and host of MTV’s “The Grind” Eric Nies (Gemini sun, Taurus moon, Leo ascendant) joins Andy for a birth chart reading and interview. Since gracing the television screens of tens of millions of people around the world in the 1990s, Eric has embarked on a decades-long spiritual journey that brought him face-to-face with his ego and inner demons — and provided an opportunity to heal himself through the powers of Ayahuasca and psychedelic mushrooms (and, in turn, become a shaman and assist others’ emotional and spiritual healing). In this “chart and chat,” Andy and Eric walk through Eric’s birth chart with a focus on his Gemini sun, his many tenth house placements, his Sun-Neptune opposition, his Aries Midheaven, and his South Node in Leo and North Node in Aquarius. Andy also highlights a significant Pluto transit in Eric’s near-future that signifies the beginning of an important new cycle. Learn more about astrology, and Eric Nies, in this latest episode!
16 - Relationship Astrology (Part 1)
This episode's "Big Topic" is synastry (the comparison of two people's charts to see how they affect one another). Andy breaks down three major components of synastry: planetary aspects, house overlays, and midpoints. What do they mean and what, exactly, do they tell you about a relationship? In the "Eye on the Stars" segment, Andy examines the synastry of two very good (and unlikely) friends: Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. As odd as the pairing may seem, their charts clearly show why they have maintained a solid friendship for so long. In "Ask Andy," a listener wants to better understand what the sun, moon, and Jupiter represent in synastry.
15 - Chart & Chat: Vanessa Williams
Actress, singer, producer, author, iconic showbiz legend, and — let’s not forget — Miss America 1984 Vanessa Williams (Pisces sun, Sagittarius moon, Cancer rising) joins Andy for a birth chart reading and interview. In this chart and chat episode, Vanessa talks about: the evolution of her trusting, empathic, and helpful Pisces energy over time, how her Sagittarius moon’s hopeful and positive outlook helped her during tough moments, the inner conflict between her emotional Pisces sun and fiercely independent Sagittarius moon, and her experience living with a natal Venus that is challenged by idealist Neptune and restrictive Saturn. In addition, Vanessa talks about her love of travel, the person who served as an inspiration for Wilhelmina Slater, balancing parenthood with a thriving career… and accepts a public apology from Andy. Andy also analyzes the astrological cycles at play during Vanessa’s next two years — which include her second Saturn return and a transit from expansive and abundant Jupiter through her tenth house of career. Listen and learn more about astrology — and Vanessa Williams!
14 - Chart & Chat: Blake Lewis
Singer, songwriter, beatboxer, and producer Blake Lewis (Cancer sun, Pisces moon, Libra rising) made it to the final two on the sixth season of American Idol with his unique, modern, and innovative performances that breathed new life into the show. In this episode, he joins Andy for a birth chart reading and interview that covers his creative process, his experience on American Idol (and the residual mental health effects), working through the challenging parts of Cancer and Pisces energies, the realities of working with a major record label, and his perpetual growth as a pioneering musical artist. Andy also looks ahead at Blake's astrological cycles over the next two years, which point to signification renovation and transformation.
