Angie started Bay Area Girl Geek Dinners in 2008 to network women across the Silicon Valley. Prior to that, Angie co-founded Women 2.0 in 2006, a media company promoting female entrepreneurship, where she was editor-in-chief. Angie led partnerships with employers at Hackbright Academy (a women’s engineering school), building valuable hiring partnerships with Slack, Redfin, Indiegogo and more. She created the mentorship program which enlisted 700+ industry engineers as volunteers for over four years, and connected countless women to new jobs in tech.
