My daughter is a college student at the University of Georgia in Athens. She attends this church and the podcasts make us feel closer spiritually even though distance separates us. Thank you for the message- it feeds my soul.

I’ve been listening for over three years and I’m so impressed with Pastor Chuck’s gift of teaching/preaching. I’ve never been to Athens UMC or Athens, Ga. I live in Texas but happy to have stumbled upon this podcast. I never miss an update and frequently listen to my favorites.

I live in Athens, Ga and am a member of Athens First United Methodist Church for the third time in about thirty years. As my family moved away a few times, but we always came back. My four kids are all married with children. But only one family still lives here and bought a house that has separate space for me - they go to a PCUSA church nearby, but I had gone back to my church some time ago. I love everything about it! Thanks be to God for helping me in my decision. And I have been blessed with reuniting with people that I knew from years ago. And have met many new friends as well.
