Despite recent controversy, Will Smith has made a name for himself as one of the best and most famous actors in the World. In this episode, I, Author Joyce Nkengasong, will be providing you with a Summary and Review of Will’s memoir, Will, which he published in November 2021. This memoir tells his life’s story and provides us with a tremendous amount of insight on the driving force that led him to be who he is today. Chimamanda is a pioneering writer in the genre of contemporary African fiction. Some of you may recognize her voice at the beginning of Beyonce’s song Flawless, which features a clip of Chimamanda's Ted Talk speech, we should all be feminists. Chimamanda's novels and short stories have received critical acclaim, and in 2012, she was named as one of the 100 most influential people in our world. In this episode, I will be dishing on Chimamanda’s early life, education, her books, and spilling some tea on her personal life...oh so inspiring!
