THEE Hardcore Podcast, hosted by Tom, Bob, and Patrick.
A2G171 - Sometimes Friends Fight Two
Recorded prior to last week's hullabaloo, this one is a chit-chattin' palate cleanser. Cargo shorts, Godzilla, tucker hats of the 00s, fast hardcore, musicality, venues that will talk to you now, 40 years in a biscuit factory, Fall Out Boy's hotdogs, and a premiere of new music from NJ's own DEAD TORCHES!
A2G170 - Well, A Show Happened
We got your emails. Thank you. Yes. A show happened. Some people love that it happened. Other people don't care for it at all. We talk about it, doing our best to see where you're all coming from.
A2G169 - Pulse Of the Core
Best listeners in the world hit us with the best questions in the world. Talk of Soul Search, Helmet, Sick Of It All, Rollins Band, Die Kreuzen, Cro-Mags, Botch, Be All End All, 7"s, long songs, Deranged Records, Jesus Lizard, and the maximum stage capacity.
A2G168 - Back In Business(?)
Slowly, slowly, the world returns to normal. Like a blossoming flower after the frost. And with it, shows, tours, good promoters, bad promoters, college students gambling their campus recreation budgets, and kids in basements risking their leases. Plus, new music from BLVD OF DEATH!
A2G167 - Two Spots Behind Buffalo
90s chatter of all stripes: the bands, the labels, the vibe, the locals, the nonsense. Also, turning down a million dollars, that house on the American Football album, and Chet Hanks. New music from COLONIAL WOUND. RIP Rob Vitale.
A2G166 - Tough Skins (the Pants)
Rerecorded songs; JNCo Vs Diesel; Mike Dirnt's marital status; Ebullition Records; calling in a Descendents lifeline; best Bridge Nine era; the casual disrespect of rating your friends' bands; $700 coats; 8Chan; clean vocals; murdering DRI; just good ol core talk this week. And... SOUL BLIND Live on Axe To Grind!
Grind axes again
I’ve heard every episode every Tuesday since episode 2, one of the best podcasts period and markedly the best hardcore music podcast. No one’s encyclopedic knowledge and charm is gonna turn me into a Beatles/Led Zeppelin/U2 fan any time soon - but this podcast, until someone else does this good of a job for 3+ years in a row, is THE authority on hardcore.
This here program is alive with pleasure.
