Writing Star Wars: Alex Segura and Justin Aclin

Today’s episode is a special edition indeed of Babu’s Frikin’ Podcast! We are joined by two esteemed gentlemen who are not only passionate Star Wars fans, but who have actually written books in the Star Wars universe.

Justin Aclin has written and created comic books for all ages, including two middle grade graphic novels in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series. He also co-created the sci-fi action comic S.H.O.O.T. First, and the super hero graphic novel Hero House. He’s also worked with or been featured by the likes of ToyFare magazine where he was also editor, Marvel and Dark Horse Comics.

Alex Segura, who is an acclaimed, award-winning writer of novels, comic books, short stories, and podcasts. He is the author of Star Wars Poe Dameron: Free Fall and the Anthony Award-winning Pete Fernandez Mystery series. Alex has also written a number of comic books, most notably the superhero noir The Black Ghost, the YA music series The Archies, and the “Archie Meets” collection of crossovers. He is also the co-creator of the Lethal Lit crime/YA podcast from iHeart Radio, which was named one of the best podcasts of 2018 by The New York Times.
