Plot Points

Plot points is really interesting and smart reviews of RPG adventures. It’s not just “I liked this, I don’t like that” it’s discussion of the structure and design of these things and why some work and some don’t.

The show is covering gaming subjects with laser point accuracy and the hosts usually have plenty to add from different perspectives. I really enjoy how they are able to cover a topic very well and not repeat each other.

This mix of looking at the theme, literary angles, influences & more at roleplaying game material is just great as well as seeing how effective it is not only as a piece of written work but also how well it is for putting in your game (with the existing system or translating it to your current game). Also some really fun interviews to listen to. The Plot Points crew is definitely worth listening to even if you're new to tabletop gaming or to a particular system as they cover the rules well enough to know if you'll want to try it our or just grab a particular adventure to read through for fun & ideas.

Great show. Brad and Ben need to listen to Sarah as she right - except when discussing her opinion of D&D. :)
