    AUG 13

Spacelab Episode 6 with Lonzo of World Class Wreckin' Cru

This month Billy and Phil interview Alonzo Williams aka Lonzo aka The Godfather of West Coast Hip Hop. Lonzo is a key figure in the history of Hip Hop and Electro and his fingerprints are all over the foundation this music is built one. Owner of the legendary LA club Eve After Dark (as featured in 2023's film of the same name) and member of the highly influential World Class Wreckin' Cru to name just two of his landmarks, Lonzo has plenty to say. In this episode he shares many stories from back in the day, describes the real hustle that went along with running clubs back in the day, making and selling records, making sure history is told straight and true, and much more besides. Plus, of course, a ton of great music. 1.Planet — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  2.Something 2 Dance 2 — N.W.A  3.Situation Hot — Arabian Prince and the Shieks  4.Juice — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  5.Surgery — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  6.Techno City — E.V.I.A.N & the Atlantis Posse  7.He’s Bionic — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  8.House Calls (instrumental) — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  9.Cabbage Patch (instrumental) — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  10.Dre’s Beat — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  11.Slice — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  12.Mission Possible — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  13.Breakdown (Dance Your Ass Off) — Unknown DJ  14.Must be the Music (instrumental) — World Class Wreckin’ Cru  15.Sweat — The Mechanic  16.My Posse — C.I.A  17.World Class Freak — World Class Wreckin’ Cru    Hosted on Acast.
