One foundational part of self-care - good nutrition and health weight
In your latest article on the CNN news app, you did not mention how important it is to have good nutrition and maintain a healthy weight. According to the HHS Office of Minority health: “African American women have the highest rates of obesity or being overweight compared to other groups in the United States. About 4 out of 5 African American women are overweight or obese.” This is unacceptable and being overweight or obese creates significant health problems. It should not be glorified to be a “big girl”. Please use your voice to point attention to this crucial component of self-care.
