Behind the Whistle – Episode 5 – Frank Kristensen – Communication is key

Our guest for this episode is our first international official, Frank Kristensen. Frank is the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Coordinator of Officials in Europe. Frank has been officiating American Football for close to 30yrs and has attended international tournaments as both an on-field official and as a tournament supervisor.

In this episode we hear from Frank about how he’s been able to transfer communication skills that he’s learnt from his officiating career in to his professional life, and vice versa. Frank explains how your body language is used as a way of communication and is something that as an official you need to be conscious about.
