Miss Lina’s podcast is a unique resource for those wanting to learn the specific nuances of the Mandarin spoken in Taiwan. Her materials are clear and well thought out, and incorporate modern, casual terms and slang that are so helpful, especially around technology and social media culture and other very useful conversational matter. I have looked a long time for this kind of resource but they are few and far between. Thanks to Miss Lin for filling this gap in such a professional and useful way. And fun too!

I’ve been living in Taiwan for a year, and Miss Lin’s podcast were, and still are, a big help for my overall life here. It is quite difficult to find Taiwan-oriented learning material online, so Miss Lin’s podcast is a godsend to people trying to speak more naturally and to understand locals. I have a better understanding of the meaning and reasons behind many (seemingly obscure) Taiwanese reactions, and I always get positive reactions when I use a local wording she mentioned before.
