Regan Archibald: Achieve Optimal Health through Peptides – Part 2

Would you like to have sharper thinking or more energy?  Do you know that inflammation can affect your mood, your thinking, your vision, your gut health, and more? What if there was a test that could determine how much inflammation you have in your body based on markers? Lisa continues the conversation with guest Regan Archibald, Lac, FMP who talks about specific blood tests which do just that. Regan is one of the leading Peptide, Functional Medicine, and Longevity Specialists in the US. His award-winning center, EastWest Health, has performed thousands of comprehensive blood tests which include nearly 100 important markers that allow Regan and his team to understand the root cause of health issues. Regan is an international speaker and is the author of nine books including “The Peptide Blueprint” and “Ageless Future.”  In this segment, Regan talks about blending Western medicine with Eastern. He talks about the ancient art of Chinese medicine and how emperors wanted immortality. They were on a quest for longevity.  Eastern modalities are valid and tested scientifically. It’s a more natural way of healing and methods that worked in the past are still powerful today. Regan also talks about infections. How do we get chronic infections in our guts? You need to test to see what type of infection it is in order to heal it. We can get infections from travelling, from parasites, from our pets, even from unsatisfactory conditions in restaurants. If you grew up with a diet where you were exposed to herbicides and pesticides, you probably have an unhealthy gut. Unhealthy genetically modified foods have affected us all. People who live in industrial countries have infections due to toxic exposure.  It attacks our immune systems. Detoxing can also help. It’s all based on testing. Mint, parsley, and cilantro are natural ways to help the detoxification process. Exercise is the best way to heal and detox. Movement helps tremendously to release toxins. You can get phenomenal health results by detoxing, and then adding peptides. Regan talks about the dedicated process of taking six months to improve your health. There are no quick fixes. Most people want to change, but it does take courage and commitment. How good would you like to feel? Regan’s team can run specific lab tests and spend time explaining the details and results with you individually. If you are interested in learning more, or participating in a blood test as well as meeting with a consultant, pls visit https://agelessfuture.com/lisa/ You will be asked to fill out a form, then you can meet with a specialist. Regan Archibald: Achieve Optimal Health through Peptides – Part 1

Do you sometimes experience foggy thinking? Have you ever had a concussion or been hit on the head? Last year, Lisa had a major bike accident that caused a concussion and brain inflammation. Do you know that this inflammation can also affect your mood, your thinking, your vision, your gut health, and more? What if there was a test that could determine how much inflammation you have in your body based on markers? Our guest today, researcher Regan Archibald, Lac, FMP,  talks about specific blood tests which do just that. Regan is one of the leading Peptide, Functional Medicine, and Longevity Specialists in the US. His award-winning center, EastWest Health, has performed thousands of comprehensive blood tests which include nearly 100 important markers that allow Regan and his team to understand the root cause of health issues. Regan is an international speaker and is the author of nine books including “The Peptide Blueprint” and “Ageless Future.”  Even if you have never experienced head trauma, you may have had a health crisis at some point. The crisis can sometimes cause chronic illness. Regan became obsessed with studying peptides in the body after more than six concussions. He grew up on a ranch in Idaho where he rode dirt bikes, skateboards, mountain bikes, snowboards, and participated in other dangerous activities. After numerous concussions, his entire personality changed. He was no longer interested in school and studying, he found himself with a different group of friends, he was even dressing differently. He always had ADD, but found it was getting much worse. About a year later, he attended a conference where he heard a lecture about stem cells. Emergency Room doctors talked about using medication, but another doctor talked about a method of healing the brain by using a specific nasal spray. Regan became the first researcher and first person outside of a clinical trial to use this method for internasal stem cells. After his treatment, he slept very deeply and woke up able to quiet his mind for the first time. It was such a profound experience, he started researching ways to progress this method. Through studying stem cells, he learned about peptides that could help with regeneration, boosting the immune system, building muscles, and so much more.   Scientists have identified about 7,000 different peptides in the body, but they become somewhat dormant as we age. We lose the ability to receive the signal. The receptors change and genes get turned off, but it’s now possible to turn them back on! If you’ve been exposed to harmful chemicals, had an accident, been under stress, or even had an infection, peptides can be very beneficial to healing. Toxins stay in the fat of our bodies and brains and peptides can help with releasing harmful elements.  Regan has developed specialized blood tests that can determine which peptides can be the most beneficial. Most people have chronic inflammation. This usually shows up in the gut first. The Vagus Nerve gets disrupted, and disease migrates into the digestive system. When inflammation cannot get flushed out of the brain, certain signals begin to disfunction. Sleep is the best detoxification for our brains. It’s very important to recover from concussions for optimal brain health. The brain immediately tries to cope and therefore adapts. It turns off and on certain cells. There is so much research on aging and how the brain begins to shrink, but this does not have to be the case.  Regan’s team can run specific lab tests and spend time explaining the details and results with you individually. 3. Ravinder Taylor: Mind Training – Part 2

Ravinder Taylor: Mind Training – Part 2

Would you like to better understand your patterns and feel more empowered?   Lisa continues the conversation today with researcher and best-selling author Ravinder Taylor. She has helped literally thousands of people change their state of mind and therefore empower their lives. Her latest book is “Mind Training: The Science of Self-Empowerment.” Ravinder talks about the importance of choice. If bad things happen, it is not your fault. She asks us to ask, “What do you gain when you have a problem?” What is the difference between being informed and being prepared? How can you be aware of a problem or upcoming situation, yet not attract it? Ravinder has studied optimism and pessimism. Some people believe that doom-scrolling is about helping them feel more prepared. People have the “hope” that if they have information, they can be prepared so the worst-case won’t happen. If someone looks for the negative, they will not have an enjoyable time and will feel stressed. Ravinder talks about statistics which show how much healthier people can be if they are more optimistic. What you expect, you observe. Your body will either fight or grow. Cortisol makes us feel stressed and can affect our hearts. She discusses actual techniques to increase optimism. We can be aware that some things will not work out, but if we are optimistic, we can grow and have a happier quality of life. Her “Mind Training” book talks all about the benefits of optimism and positive thinking. We can learn when things go wrong, and that means you have grown as a person. If your self-talk is positive, you cannot be depressed. Ravinder also talks about compassion and forgiveness. She talks about the prison system and studies about blame. We may need to separate ourselves from toxic people and toxic situations, but we can still offer forgiveness. She talks about the idea of “Forgiving the Unforgivable,” and Free Will. We have choices and we can teach by example. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: RavinderTaylor.com

Ravinder Taylor: Mind Training – Part 1

What happens when we really utilize the power of our mind to break through blocks to success in our lives? Or maybe you are facing a pivot and do not want to go backward into old patterns? Our guest today is researcher and best-selling author Ravinder Taylor. She has helped literally thousands of people change their state of mind and therefore empower their lives. Her latest book is “Mind Training: The Science of Self-Empowerment.” Ravinder talks about solid research which analyzed the importance of your state of mind, including a technique which improved cognitive abilities, reduced stress, and also made progress toward dementia. When she studied it further, she knew she could go deeper. What she wanted to do was take away the mystic around “self-help,” and show how in a scientific manner that positive change could be proven. She studied various self-help techniques so that the reader could find methods that work for themselves. She was looking specifically at a 12-minute meditation, which had spiritual undertones. She talks about the Sikh tradition in which she was raised, although she turned away from organized religion. She further studied brainwave entrainment and how it works with meditation. She suggests bringing your own faith into your meditation, if that feels right for you. She talks about what beliefs mean and how certain ideas get into our mind. The subconscious beliefs are so powerful, but first she says we must understand where the beliefs originated. She talks about the divided mind that Freud explored which includes the Ego, the Id, and the Superego. She furthers talks about the idea of the 4 Selves and what they mean. Who do we believe we can be? It’s not about perfection, it’s about our personal successes. We can actualize them. Her training is about being the best you can be. She further looks at psycho-social development, starting as an infant. Each period of our life lets us learn different things. She outlines the stages and shares ways to correct behaviors toward empowerment through various exercises. We can look back at our own childhoods and see where patterns started. Ravinder discusses her research into the Law of Attraction – Ask, Believe, and Receive. She talks about insecurities, self-destructive behaviors, and the importance of choosing, rather than asking. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: RavinderTaylor.com
