It's time to hear the letters that Ruby Franke's family wrote in her defense. And let's just say, they aren't the best. Ruby's parents and her brother wrote two letters defending her honor, and we think it's safe to say that even with these letters in mind, we're not batting an eyelash at Ruby's prison sentence. We're reading both letters to you, and we want to hear all of your criticisms! We'll then dive into J**e the Chode's miserable excuse for a speech at her sentencing - it left a lot to be desired. The sentencing hearings came and went, and FRANK-ly, we're not buying Ruby's apology statement. The whole thing reads very much like an Oscar acceptance speech, and she doesn't help her case by conflating ducks and chickens. We're diving back into the Ruby Franke/8 Passengers saga because there is a lot more information that came to light over the past several weeks. You're not going to believe some of the information we're going to share with you.

The sisters were young; both were preteens simply trying to enjoy the beginning of their spring break at the local mall in their Maryland suburb. Unfortunately, predators lurked around every corner. Join in to find out which one of the (strangely, many) was guilty of the girls' kidnapping.

Finally, we're on Episode 8 of our 8 Passengers series, and it's been a wild ride! We are so thankful to all of the listeners who have been "passengers" on this journey, and for sticking it out far longer than the Franke family lizard ever could! This week, we cover the arrest of Jodi and Ruby, what was found in Jodi's home post-arrest (including a super creepy "safe room" that we at Betsy Boss have aptly renamed the "unsafe room") and how much Jodi's house is selling for... we'll give you a hint: it's a multimillion dollar figure. Though the Franke children have a long road ahead of them, we're hopeful that restoring their "conneXions" with Kevin and the rest of their family will help them on their path to recovery.
